The FloodSmart Flood Pillow performs like a sandbag or similar products, without the sand. Made from a sturdy Geotextile fabric, the Flood Pillow contains a highly absorbent polymer that activates when exposed to fresh water. When fully activated, they may be stacked as you would sandbags to create a highly effective barrier to block or divert nuisance water. Alternatively, they may be used to absorb water from roof leaks, leaking appliances such as washing machines, freezers and dishwashers and in many other circumstances where water is seeping or getting away. They are incredibly easy to transport and store. Flood Pillows can be activated using the flood water (*not suitable for saltwater flooding), by hose or by soaking in a temporary bund, wading pool or even a bath.
